She walked up to his car and said,
“Now because of you, I’ve suffered a loss. So without causing you any loss, how can Shakti let you go?”
Saying this, she pulled out a cricket bat from behind her and in one single shot shattered Shiv’s car window. Shiv immediately stepped back in shock.
Her action shocked everyone except Kabir, as if he had already expected this. The driver, sighing in relief in his mind, thought,
“Thank God I had stepped out of the car. Otherwise, who knows what my condition would have been.”
Then Shakti threw the bat on the ground, walked up to Shiv, gently grabbed his collar and pulled him slightly down toward her, and said softly,
“ Aur haan, ek baat aur, agar agli baar mera kaam bigaada na, to main yeh nahin karungi, balki sabke saamne tumhein kiss kar lungi. Phir mat kehna, ki din dahaade ek ladki ne tumhari izzat par haath daal diya.” ( And one more thing — if you mess up my work next time, I won’t do this. I’ll kiss you in front of everyone. Then don’t complain that a girl touched your honor in broad daylight. )
With a mischievous smile, she added,
“ Waise bhi tum dikhne mein kaafi sexy ho. Bachke rehna, mera man kabhi bhi beimaan ho sakta hai. ” ( Anyway, you actually look quite sexy. Be careful, my heart can turn dishonest anytime. )
With that, she winked at him and walked away.

The area around the pandal was crowded at that moment. Many people were moving here and there, some busy with their work. In the middle of all that chaos, Shiv suddenly collided with a girl while walking.
Because of the impact, the basket of flowers in her hands flew up into the air, and she almost lost her balance. But Shiv quickly caught her by the arms, steadying her, and the flowers from the basket scattered and began to fall all over the two of them. The running crowd, along with Kabir and Yug, froze and turned their eyes toward them.
That girl was none other than Shakti.
Meanwhile, Shiv kept staring at her without blinking.
At that moment, Shakti was wearing a pink and yellow Nauvari saree in a traditional Maharashtrian style. Her hair was tied into a neat bun, decorated with fragrant mogra flowers. She wore small jhumka earrings, a pearl necklace around her neck, soft pink lipstick on her lips, and her wrists were filled with pink glass bangles. But the most beautiful part of her look was the Maharashtrian nath (nose ring) she wore — and Shiv’s eyes were completely caught by it.
Shakti’s eyes were closed, so she didn’t know who had caught her. A few flower petals had landed softly on her eyelashes and her lips. Seeing them, Shiv’s heart skipped a beat.
When Shakti felt herself in someone’s arms, she lightly jerked her face and brushed away the petals. The moment she opened her eyes, she saw Shiv standing in front of her. With his face so close to hers, Shakti forgot to blink.
Once again, Shiv found himself lost in the depth of Shakti’s blue eyes. Their trance broke only when Yug and Kabir called out to them.
Snapping back to his senses, Shiv quickly helped Shakti stand properly and stepped away from her.
Shakti, who until then had been staring at him in a daze, came back to reality as well. Instead of looking shocked, a mischievous smile slowly appeared on her lips.
Brushing flower petals off her saree, she looked at Shiv and said, “ Kya matlab samjhoon main ab iska? Kya Bappa mujhe gift mein— ” ( So what am I supposed to understand from this now? Did Bappa gift me something— )
Before she could finish, Shiv raised a finger and cut her off, “ Bas, hum yahan aapki bakwaas sunne nahin aaye hain. ” ( Enough. We didn’t come here to listen to your nonsense. )
“ Achha, to kisliye aaye hain? Zara main bhi to jaanoon. ” ( Oh really? Then why did you come? Let me know too ) , Shakti said, folding her arms.
Giving her a sharp, sideways glare, Shiv replied, “ Aap kahin ki Prime Minister nahin hain, jo aapko sab pata hona chahiye. ” ( You’re not the Prime Minister of this country that you need to know everything. )
With a smile, Shakti gestured toward herself and said, “ Kya aap bhi mujhe Prime Minister bana rahe ho? Are dekho mujhe dhang se zara, kya aapko nahin lagta ki main biwi banne waali ladki hoon? , ” ( Hey, you’re making me the Prime Minister, seriously? Just look at me properly. Don’t you think I look more like a future wife than a Prime Minister? )
Her open flirting left both Shiv and Yug stunned. While Shiv felt his anger rising, Yug was secretly enjoying the scene.
Annoyed, Shiv said, “We’ve never seen a more ill-mannered girl than you in my life.”
Shakti stepped closer to him and replied,“Ill-mannered? Oh please. I can give it to you on stamp paper that you’ve never seen a more beautiful and sexy girl than me either.”
Yug’s eyes widened in shock, while Shiv’s anger grew stronger.
Shiv grabbed both her arms and said angrily,“Enough. You’ve crossed the limit of rudeness, and I’ve heard enough of your nonsense. Because of me, that criminal escaped, so I stayed quiet until now. But I won’t tolerate your misbehavior anymore.”
Seeing Shiv so furious, Yug started getting tense. Even Kabir felt that the situation wasn’t right and stepped closer. But not for even a second did fear appear on Shakti’s face.
She twisted her wrists and freed herself from Shiv’s grip. Then she wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him closer, and whispered, “ Lagta hai meri baatein yaad nahin aapko. Kaha tha na maine, mera dil zara kamzor hai, kabhi bhi beimaan ho sakta hai. Par khair, Bappa ne bacha liya aapko. Upvaas hai na mera, isliye aaj aapko kiss nahi kar sakti… warna Bappa mujhe upvaas me itna sweet aur delicious crime karne ke liye kabhi maaf nahi karenge. ” ( Looks like you’ve forgotten my words. I told you, my heart is a little weak — it can become dishonest at any time. But fine, Bappa saved you. It’s my day of fasting, that’s why I can’t kiss you today… otherwise Bappa would never forgive me for committing such a sweet and delicious crime during my fast. )
Hearing her words and feeling her so close to him, a strange restlessness started to rise inside Shiv.
sᴄᴇɴᴇ 𝟹....
Shiv stepped closer to her and said, “ Aap humare saath Rajasthan aayengi na. ” ( You will come with us to Rajasthan, won’t you? )
“I said I want to know everything,” Shakti replied without looking at him. Her eyes were still fixed on Abhay.
“Come to Rajasthan. You’ll get answers to all your questions there,” Shiv said.
At this, Shakti grabbed his collar. “Shivang Singh Rajput… don’t test my patience. Or else—”
“Or else you’ll do something I can’t even imagine,” Shiv interrupted.
Shakti let go of him and said calmly, “Fine.”
She walked over to Kabir, took the paper from him, and handed it back to Shiv, saying,
“Here. Take your truth and get out of my house and out of my life. The man who couldn’t value my Papa, who couldn’t value his happiness — why should I value that men's wish? And as for your incomplete story, I have no interest in it. I’m fine on my own and with my family.”
After saying this, she stepped away from him and went to Mahima. “Sorry, Hukam Rani Sa. I was really happy to meet you. But maybe all that happiness has turned into dust now. I hope we never meet again.”
Her eyes had turned moist. Somewhere, she had grown attached to Mahima in such a short time. Mahima, hearing her words, started crying as well.
Shakti turned to leave, but just then she heard Shiv’s voice behind her. “You’re running away from the truth, Shakti.”
She turned around and looked at him.
Walking closer, Shiv said, “Do you really think that if you run from the truth, it will stop following you?”
“What are you trying to say?”
“You’re scared that the truth might be something you won’t be able to bear. Did you ever try to find out what really happened to your loved ones? Was it really an accident your parents died in? Why did they kill Manisha?”
The moment Shiv took Manisha’s name, Shakti looked at him in shock. At the same time, Ajit, Sukhvinder, Kabir, Arjun, and Meenakshi also stared at him with the same stunned expressions.
Before Shakti’s eyes, the incident from years ago flashed like a nightmare replaying itself.
In a fit of rage, she grabbed Shiv by the throat and slammed him back against the wall.
Her eyes had turned bloodshot.
Staring straight into his eyes, she said in a cold, dangerous voice, “ Shiv ki shakti hoon mai, par mujhme Mahakaali basti hai, isliye mere emotion ke saath khelna band karo. Maine kisi ko bhi meri Didu aur Mumma Papa ke baare mein bolne ka haq nahin diya hai. ” ( Shiv ki shakti hoon mai… but Mahakali lives inside me. So stop playing with my emotions. I have not given anyone the right to speak about my Didu and my Parents. )
Her grip on Shiv’s throat tightened so hard that he started struggling to breathe.
